Whether it’s date night or a dinner party, these Molten Nutella Lava Cakes are the perfect dessert. These fancy looking cakes are so easy to make and taste just like traditional molten chocolate cakes, but are Nutella flavored instead. The end result is a delicious one and one that you can plate and dress up. I love molten chocolate cakes. For me, my ideal lava cake has a very light, delicate cake shell, with a hot, molten, liquid center. This is exactly how this cake turns out. And it’s Nutella flavored, which just makes it even more amazing.

Ingredients :
1/4 cup OR 50 gr unsalted butter
1 cup OR 100 gr white chocolate
2/3 cup OR 60 gr plain flour
1/2 cup OR 100 gr caster sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
nutella ( 1 spoon into each ramekin)
decoration - nutella and hazelnuts
Directions:
Step 1 : Melt your white chocolate with butter. You can do it in a microwave with 30 second breaks or over the double boiler.
Step 2 : Into a bowl add your eggs , vanilla extract and sugar and mix well.
Step 3 : Then add your white chocolate and then flour. Mix that in.
Step 4 : Butter each ramekin and then add some flour to coat it around.
Step 5 : Pour the mixture into your ramekins, then add 1 tsp of nutella into each ramekin and place into a freezer for 2 hours.
Step 6 : In the meantime roast your hazelnuts on a pan for 5-8 min until crispy, place them in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
Step 7 : Bake your white chocolate lava cakes at 200 C / 390 F for about 15-20 min. This depends on your oven.
Step 8 : Loosen the molten lava cakes from their tins with a knife and serve straight away with ice cream, more nutella and roasted hazelnuts. Enjoy!
